Imagos assisted in programming funds and developing programme documentation for large scale projects to support the implementation of the Serbian Anti-Corruption Strategy (2013-2018) and its action plan in nine priority areas, including public sector financial management, justice, health, and education. Imagos developed an innovative instrument to visualize coordination needs for successful strategy implementation.

The involvement of Imagos facilitated two main results. Firstly, the stakeholders adopted a twinning project to enhance capacity, efficiency and coordination role of the Anti-Corruption Agency (ACA) to efficiently pursue its statutory competences in implementing and monitoring measures defined in the National Anti-Corruption Strategy and Action Plan, and to strengthen corruption prevention mechanisms in line with EU Member States’ best practices and in accordance with the National Anti-Corruption Strategy and Action Plan. The second main outcome was the adoption of a programme (€ 3,600,000) to strengthen transparency, efficiency and coordination of anti-corruption institutions and policies in the area of prevention and fight against corruption. Expected results involve strengthened capacities for prevention of corruption in line with the Strategy and Action Plan, and the recommendations of the Action Plan for Chapter 23, and strengthened capacities for repression of corruption by improving quality of investigation, prosecution and trial of corruption-related cases.
